The woman pictured here with me is the reason that I fell in love with the kitchen from the beginning. This woman is my Grandmother, Beatrice otherwise known as Bea.

     She was an amazing woman that always seemed to have things figured out. Her love of cooking was not limited to just that. She baked, canned and even grew most of her own produce that she worked with; she was a jack-of-all-trades in the kitchen.

 

     Her passion for baking was what always stood out to me, and lead me to take the jump into pie. The Bumble "Bea" in my logo pays homage to her legacy that she left in the kitchen and everywhere she went. She has been greatly missed, but we all know that she is always looking over me especially when I am in the kitchen.
